Clark Blows It ... Big Time
Posted by McQ
Anyone else mutter "I can't believe it" when Wesley Clark stood there and refused to repudiate the Michael Moore bit about Bush being a deserter?
Get a CLUE, Wes ... buy one ... BORROW one, fer heaven's sake. Peter Jennings was asking the freakin' question and he was throwing every bit of body language (as well as plain old English) your way he could to move you toward that repudiation and what did you do? Nada. Zip. Zero.
Well, except to say "a lot of other people are saying it too". Good thing my mom's dead as she'd have had you by the ear and asking you "if a lot of others are jumping off a bridge, does that make it right?!"
Then the Clintontonian twisting of your "We are not going to have one of these incidents" when you're president as something other than a guarantee was the cherry on top. No wait, maybe the cherry was the nonsense about your praise of Bush and Blair being something other than praise of Bush and Blair ... was anyone else just flat intellectually insulted?
Al Sharpton may not have had a clue about the Federal Reserve, and Edwards may be lost in space over the Defense of Marriage act, but you General, ended up bringing up the rear.
Well done, Wes ... well done.
