Ever wanted to know what a "meme" is? Here's a good description.

It's not just a handy term for the stupid myths your opponents believe...it has greater implications. Free will? Determinism? Evolutionary biology? All there, baby.

Of course, if you still want to use it as shorthand for "stupid myths"...well, we'll all know what you mean.
