July 06, 2004 Released Gitmo Detainees again fighting against US According the the Washington Times: Several detainees released by the U.S. military from the detention center in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, have rejoined their former comrades-in-arms and taken part in fresh attacks on American troops, according to Defense Department officials and a senior Republican lawmaker. I sure hope no one's particularly surprised. What would come equally as no surprise is if we suddenly started taking fewer and fewer prisoners in Afghanistan. Troops only want to have to fight these guys once. |
I have read many articles stating that the Afghan GITMO Detainees have returned to the fight. What I am trying to find is evidence where it supports that statement. Nowhere have I seen names, a list of detainees being released or evidence supporting that they have returned to the figtht.
