CBK: I'm not sure who took the video, but I do know that WNBC has it on their website. Look toward the bottom of the page. Posted by: McQ at July 25, 2004 01:57 PM |

They were Freepers. See the URL at the bottom of the "Jail Sandy Burglar" sign. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1176487/posts Still can't figure out what they said to him to get him all pissed off like that. And why didn't they want to give him their names in response to his attempt at intimidation, anyway? They should have defiantly introduced themselves, then offered him something to write them down on to make sure he got the spelling right. Then, they should have said, "What's my name, bitch?" Update: looks like one of them did introduce himself. From the Trentonian: http://www.zwire.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=12449058&BRD=1697&PAG=461&dept_id=44551&rfi=6 Fair use excerpt: WASHINGTON, D.C. -- As an experienced protester from the right, Raoul Deming has caused many politicians to become red-faced with frustration and rage. Yesterday, he and his protest commando partner Kristinn Taylor outdid their own reputation when they confronted Sept. 11 commission member Bob Kerrey in Washington, causing the former Democratic senator from Nebraska to launch into a retort of angry expletives. Kerrey, who at the time was walking into the Mellon Auditorium on Constitution Avenue to help unveil the commission’s final report, apparently got upset after the two protesters yelled that Democrats could not be trusted with America’s national security. "What’s your names?" Kerrey demanded of the pair. Taylor complied and shook the politician’s hand. But Deming refused, saying only that he was a citizen. "So am I, a------," Kerrey snapped, irked at the pair’s taunts and at their signs which said: "Democrats cannot be trusted with national security." More at the link.
